MoJo or Mobile Journalism is taking editorial offices by storm. An increasing number of radio stations are no longer thinking “radio”, but “content”. The tools used to capture this content are no longer microphones. They’re smartphones. These multi-purpose tools can do everything and can now do it in native format, uncompressed. The Radio and Digital Audio Show is responding to the demand from many visitors in 2018 by creating a new Podcast, MoJo and Mobile Video space. Come and visit this space and see what’s happening there.

But what are the tools used by editorial teams today? What kind of microphones, tripods, stabilisers, LED lights and above all what kind of workflow? The answer to these questions can be found in the new area that the Radio Show is offering for the first time in 2019: the Podcast, MoJo and Mobile Video space. This space is made up of 3 sections.

Podcast to the max

The Podcast world is booming. Podcasts now achieve a better Google search rank than written content. The arrival of voice assistant services is enhancing the importance of audio content and the radio industry is seizing this foreseeable but unanticipated opportunity. This gives rise to many questions. The recently-founded Paris Podcast Festival is now placing value on these podcasts by conferring a greater range of awards than we have with the Podcast of the Year award. But what kind of material to go for? What tools and services are there for podcasters? This area will provide a space to facilitate contact and communication between players in the podcast sphere and present solutions to make your everyday life as a content editor easier.

MoJo users’ meeting space

There will be a meeting area with around 15 places where short workshops will be offered by INA and other partners. With mini-conferences, exhibitors’ demo material, exchanges with users and future purchasers, this area will help you find a concrete answer to your questions and allow you to learn about tools that you may not previously have been familiar with.

Video, or not?

Whether you are a follower of filmed radio, multi-platform interviews or live Facebook, video is an element that should not be underestimated. The purists don’t like it, but Generations Y and Z consume it every day. Whatever anyone might think of it, video is one of the tools of communication of every station and every brand name that wants to put its message across. But video requires rather more resources than audio. The image must be produced while keeping audio centre-stage. Tools and apps help make professionals’ work easier for them. Come and find them in this space.

Feel free to download the application form to get all the informations to exhibit in this new area.

About the Radio and Digital Audio Show
During the past 15 years or so, the Radio and Digital Audio Show - admission to which has remained free - has emerged as the only annual gathering devoted entirely to the radio industry. The event, which is still taking place in the world’s most beautiful city, has previously been held in such prestigious locations as Porte de Versailles, Tapis Rouge and Centre Étoile Saint-Honoré, before taking up residence at the Grande Halle de la Villette.
Taking part in the Radio and Digital Audio Show guarantees the opportunity to meet around 7,000 professionals and executives, primarily from France, but also from around 50 other countries. In an atmosphere that is always very congenial, the Radio and Digital Audio Show provides a unique opportunity to meet prospective clients, make new contacts and invigorate your network. Its structure and the original layout of the booths give all exhibitors great visibility for promoting their products and services while dealing with a continuous, uninterrupted flow of registered visitors.
